SCHILLER's LFX Software is a comprehensive solution for pulmonary function testing that can make a significant difference in the care of patients with respiratory conditions. It is a user-friendly patient management platform that provides healthcare professionals with sophisticated tools to conduct high-quality lung assessments.
At SCHILLER- GANSHORN, we understand the importance of accurate pulmonary function tests for patients of all ages. That's why we have developed the LFX Software, a comprehensive solution built on cutting-edge Windows tools like .Net, C#, and MySQL or MSSQL databases.
Keep reading to discover why this solution can make a 180-degree difference in the quality of life for patients with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions.
LFX Software: What Can It Do for You?
TheLFX Software is a versatile platform that includes all the parameters necessary to perform comprehensive, reliable, and accurate pulmonary function tests in adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
Its intuitive interface simplifies and enhances the process of conducting tests such as spirometry and oscillometry. It features a statistical module that allows you to compare different visits of the same patient and a biological control module to ensure test quality. Of course, everything is in compliance with the quality standards set by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS).
The LFX Software unifies our pulmonary function tests, spirometry and oscillometry into a single platform, providing specific functionalities for each. This makes it easier to manage and access relevant data. Let's briefly explore how it works with each of them.
Ultrasonic Spirometer, SpiroScout
SpiroScout harnesses the advantages of ultrasonic technology to measure pulmonary flows and volumes, ensuring high precision, even with low flows. It also utilizes hygienic mouthpieces, ScoutTube, to prevent cross-contamination. Furthermore, it does not require warming up or calibration.
The LFX Softwareallows you to measure FVC (Forced Vital Capacity), SVC (Slow Vital Capacity), and MVV (Maximum Voluntary Ventilation), among others. Additionally, it enables the comparison of a patient's spirometry results to analyze the effectiveness of treatment. LFX includes a pediatric incentive feature that displays candles to guide young patients during the maneuver.
The Airway Oscillometry System, tremoflo®, measures airway resistance and reactance. How does it work? The patient breathes normally through a mouthpiece, and the tremoflo® generates small waves that travel through the airways. The device detects the returning waves and uses this information to calculate airway resistance and reactance.
LFX provides data for the resistance curve (central and peripheral airways) and the reactance curve (elasticity and peripheral airways), among other key data, combining them into the report along with spirometry.
Advantages of LFX Software
- Complies with ATS/ERS quality criteria for determining test validity.
- Allows easy zooming in on any part of the respiratory curve.
- Provides reports with modern and explanatory graphical elements.
- Full Windows programming.
- GDT (General Data Transfer).
- Network connectivity capability.
- HL7 Interface.
- DICOM solutions.
In summary, the LFX Software is a powerful tool developed by SCHILLER- GANSHORN to enhance the management of pulmonary function tests. It offers a range of features that simplify data comparison and provide doctors with a comprehensive view to make informed treatment decisions for patients. Take care of your patients' lung health with our advanced devices and their innovative software.
