From the beginning, we declared war on sudden cardiac death. We have done so over more than four decades in which the constants have been our experience and our perpetual search for innovation.

Not only do we want to offer precise devices that fulfill their function, but to make practical equipment for doctors and patients that include the greatest technological advances available. Several years ago, while established manufacturers were still offering heavy, bulky defibrillators, Schiller launched a defibrillator that was 10 times lighter than the competitors´. And since then, we remain focused on creating devices and improving those that already exist.

As the demand for our equipment grew, we decided to take advantage of our extensive experience in the cardiology area to extend ourselves to other complementary fields, such as respiratory specialty. That is what has led us to develop cardiopulmonary technology that is not only able to efficiently detect various anomalies at a technical level but, to further enhance its possibilities, we have made sure to accompany it with advanced software that maximizes the efficiency and precision of our spirometers, electrocardiographs, Holter, ABPM, ergometers, defibrillators, and monitors

The Schiller Group

To be innovative it is necessary to keep up with the cardiopulmonary area, but to be leaders, it is necessary to open up to the contributions that others are making. That's why we integrated the Schiller Group with companies that strengthened our place in the market:

  • Medilog Holter System.  The acquisition of the traditional Medilog Holter brought with it novelties in the field of high-end long-term ECGs and the result is the Medilog Holter System that, until today, no one has been able to match. Its ability to record for 14 continuous days without having to change the battery, and the Medilog ADAPT algorithm with a 99.9% accuracy in beat detection keep it at the forefront in its category.
  • Ganshorn. Cardiology and Pulmonology are interrelated so, working with a company specialized in the diagnosis of pulmonary function allows Schiller to offer intelligent solutions combined. One of the results of this alliance is the ultrasonic spirometer SpiroScout that, among many other advantages, is calibration-free and uses LFX Software which allows physicians to zoom-in into any part of the respiratory curve.
  • ERGOSANA. This well established and innovative manufacturer of ergometers has allowed us to develop our stress and rehab systems with the unique focus of Schiller

We take care of the hearts of patients

The vision of our founder, Alfred E. Schiller, to deliver healthcare professionals with the most advanced devices in the market has allowed us to provide the cardiologists with innovative and State of the Art products. Among our developments that have become market standards we count the inclusion of batteries, screens and keyboards to the EKG machines, the capacity of acquiring simultaneously the 12 leads and to do a multichannel printout. These developments not only facilitate the accurate (and in certain cases, timely) detection of pathologies, they also allow doctors to save the lives of people of all ethnic groups and ages. In addition to that, we have developed truly revolutionary equipment and software, suffice it to mention two of the latter:

Heart Rate Variability (HRV). A software available on some of our ECGs that helps to determine the risk of a cardiopathic patient through a recording that goes from 1 to 60 minutes.

Fred Easyport. The smallest defibrillator in the world (weighs just 490 grams with battery included) that allows you to view the ECG on the screen and has a degree of sophistication such that it is suitable for fixed point, land transfer, pressurized and non-pressurized air transfer and maritime transfer. (Note: not for sale in the USA).

Darwin 2. Medilog Darwin2 is a Holter analysis program for the storage, beat and rhythm classification, and diagnosis of long-term EKG recordings. This software delivers a streamlined end-to-end workflow with intuitive menus for fast and accurate analysis that helps save time and reduce errors.

Although our fight against sudden cardiac death is constant, there is a day with which we feel particularly identified with. Every September 29th World Heart Day is commemorated, and it is comforting to see that so many physicians and institutions are fighting for the same cause. We are confident that everyone's efforts will one day allow us to see a world of healthy hearts.
